What To Wear At A Masquerade Party

A masquerade ball is a chance for you to wear a beautiful costume and have lots of fun. The design of the costume can be as fun as the party itself. There are so many different options for costumes and it makes it difficult to choose just one. One of the most popular costume ideas is that of a character from the Renaissance era. There are stores that offer the King and Queen’s costumes.

There are also costumes for other members of the Royal Court. The costumes can range from something as simple as the court jester to something very elaborate. Anyway, the choice is yours. Some other costume ideas would be to dress as a fairy or an angel. There are also many ideas of costumes from the period of the Civil War. There are beautiful dresses as those seen in Gone with the Wind. You can also find dashing uniforms and sabres. An exotic to outrageous masquerade party is definitely one of the best opportunities to release your alter ego from within.

One of the most important things to think about is your mask. Masquerade masks gained popularity in the 15th Century when the Royals would share masks and its popular has not stopped growing since. There are many styles of masquerade masks to choose from. There are masks that cover the entire face and masks that cover only some of the facial features. This gives an air of mystery to the wearer. The mask can be very elaborate with jewels and feathers. There’s also just the simple black eye mask that is carried on a stick.

If you are on a tight budget, a good idea would be to pose as doctor. Buy a set of uniform medical scrubs, a white coat with a stethoscope and a surgical mask. Nursing uniforms would be an excellent choice. You may want to start putting your costume together a week before the party. This will give you enough time to plan and make changes in your costume.
